It's great when people start noticing your work in an art gallery. In December I was invited to show a selection of my work at the Beecroft Art Gallery in Southend, Essex, UK. I draw the designs by hand and then screen-print them at a local community arts workshop (T-A-P) which has basic screen-printing facilities. I recently printed some black and white versions of my paisley cat fabric. I sewed the cushion (pictured on the left) and added it to my exhibition collection.
Yesterday a friend, Jo Colins, attended another exhibition at the gallery and wasn't aware of my work being on display. Thanks to her for taking this pic, posting it on social media and tagging me. Much appreciated!
